Anna K. Jansen, 86, of Davenport, a former Wyoming area resident, died Friday, Oct. 12, in Davenport after a brief illness.

Services were held Monday, Oct. 15, at Zion Lutheran Church in Davenport with burial in Wyoming Cemetery.

Mrs. Jansen was born Sept. 19, 1898 in Clinton County to Jurgen and Henrietta Martensen Rathje. On Feb. 18, 1920 she married Arthur M. Jansen of Wyoming. They farmed in the Wyoming and Olin area until his death in 1943, when she moved to Davenport.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lucile J. Von Sprecken of Wyoming and Mrs. Wayne (Emily) Westphal of Lynchburg, Va.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Raymond (Alice) Holtz of Wyoming.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son, two brothers and a great-grandson.
