Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, in the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Sabula, for Besse Belle McKeag, 99, of Sabula.

She died Thursday, Oct. 11 at the Savanna City Hospital, Savanna, Ill.

The Rev. Roger Maize officiated and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. McKeag was born March 1, 1885 in Blairstown to Samuel and Louisa Coupee Frantz. She married William McKeag in Clinton.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Franklin (Mildred) Richmond and Catherine Fox, both of Sabula; two sons, Glenn Zerbee of Sabula and Kenneth Bracy of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son and a daughter.
