---Capt. Calvin Breeden, an old and respected citizen of Farmers Creek township, who came to this county in 1838, dropped dead near his home, on Tuesday the 31st, at 11 a.m., supposed to be from heart disease. He was aged about 60 years. Two sons and a daughter survive him. The funeral will be held at this late home to-day (Thursday) at 2 p.m. and will be conducted by the G. A. R. post of this city.
