Sudden Death of Samuel Alberry

Samuel Alberry, aged 33 years, 33 years, died very suddenly at the Alberry home across the river east of Canton shortly before 12 o’clock Thursday. While he had not been in sound health since last spring, when he had a severe sick spell, he was apparently as well as usual Thursday forenoon. He had been out in the woods raspberry picking Wednesday and helped to hitch up the horse just a few minutes before his death. He went out in the orchard and lay down in the shade of an apple tree. Shortly afterward his mother heard him moaning, and going to him, found him in a helpless condition. Summoning relatives, they got him to the house and into a rocking chair, where he very soon expired, having only spoken once.

He was the son of Homer and Lucetta Alberry and was born and has always lived in the vicinity of Canton. He was married to Miss Cora Sandhouse, sister of Mrs. Frank Lubben of near Baldwin. He is survived by his wife, his father and mother, his brother, Dr. George Alberry, and sister, Grace, of Monticello.
