Durward Hampbell

Durward Hampbell, 77, of Waterloo and formerly of Preston, died Wednesday, Aug. 13 at Allen Hospital in Waterloo.

Graveside services were conducted in Waterloo.

Visitation was held from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15 at the Lock Funeral Home in Waterloo.

Mr. Hampbell was born May 5, 1920, in Maquoketa, to Charles and Zora Hampbell.

His family moved to Preston when he was a young boy.

He worked for Iowa Mutual Insurance Company for many years.

Survivors include a sister, Madge Haylock of Maquoketa.

He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
