Mrs. Clara Liston Found Dead.
Suffers Attack of Neuralgia and Passes Away very Suddenly at Home of Her Son.

The people of this vicinity were shocked and surprised to learn of the sudden death, Sunday morning, of Mrs. Clara Liston, who was found sitting in a chair, after having presumably been dead several hours.

Dr. A. B. Bowen was immediately called also Coroner Riggs both of whom decided neuralgia of the heart was the immediate cause of her death, as she had suffered several attacks in the past few months.

Mrs. Liston was a lady 68 years of age and for the past six months had been visiting her son, Warren Liston and wife, in this city.

Mrs. Liston, whose maiden name was Clara Carroll, was born and raised near Iron Hill. Here she married and resided until 1896 when they moved to Hawarden, Iowa. Mr. Liston passed away Sept. 5, 1905.

Mrs. Liston was a kind and loving mother and a true friend. She is survived by the following children; John W., Wilbur and Orlen of Hawarden, Iowa; Chas. C., of Mitchell, S. D.; Atwood and Mrs. Florence Gerkin of Hecla, S. D.; Mrs. Nellie Reid of Glenham, S. D.; and Warren of this city with whom she had been making her home.

The funeral service will be held this afternoon from the Buchner chapel, Rev. D. F. Boomershine officiating. The body will then be shipped to Hawarden, Iowa, where services will be held and where the remains will be placed beside those of her husband.
