Brought Here for Burial
P. W. Fort, Former Resident is Brought Here for
Burial. Services Held Yesterday.

The body of Paul William Fort, 73 years of age, was brought here from High Lake, a suburb of Chicago, on Wednesday evening and funeral services were held yesterday morning at 10:30 o’clock from the Buchner Chapel, Rev. D. F. Boomershine officiating.

Mr. Fort was a former resident of this city, and was county superintendent of schools here for several years, later being principal; of the Maquoketa high school.

He was married to Miss Carrie Thompson, who passed away seven years ago.

He is survived by one son, Carl Fort of Chicago and two brothers, Frank of Clinton and John of Eagle Grove, all of whom were here to attend the funeral service.
