Victim of Fire

Funeral services for Hubert A. Lund, 27, who died Thursday, Dec. 10, as the result of a flash fire at Clinton Engines Corporation where he was employed as a die casting inspector, were held Saturday.

Last rites were held in Salem Lutheran church at Andrew. Officiating was the pastor, the Rev. E. D. Farwell. Interment was in the Andrew cemetery.

Lund, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Lund of Andrew, is survived by his wife, the former Venita Doss, whom he married on July 26, 1958; his parents; three brothers, John of Winter Haven, Fla., and Louis and Richard, both of Andrew; and four sisters, Mrs. William (Clara) O’Brien of Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Charles (Lillie) Hancock of Chicago, Mrs. Jessie (Georgia) Shady of Chicago and Mrs. Arlo (Thelma) Petersen of Spragueville.

Two brothers preceded him.
