Tertellus N. Hubbard, second child of Dr. and Mrs. L. T. Hubbard, was born in Monmouth, Iowa, May 27, 1852, and died Oct. 22, 1919, aged 67 years, 6 months, and 27 days.
Mr. Hubbard went to Colorado in 1889 and has lived in the western states ever since. He went to Colorado about a years ago. He was a loving brother and a good citizen. He leaves to mourn his death, two sisters and two brothers, Adelaide in the old home at Monmouth; Mrs. Kate Cooley, of Oakland, Cal.; Leonard W. Hubbard of Santaquin, Utah; and John B. in the old home. His father, mother and one sister passed out of this life serveral years ago, the father in 1895, mother in 1914 and sister, Hannah in 1878.
Mr. Hubbard was a member of the I.O.O.F., the lodge bringing the body to Monmouth for burial beside the loved ones in the familly lot. The funeral was held from the M. E. church Friday afternoon, Rev. C. O. Parke officiating.SOURCE: Jackson Sentinel, November 7, 1818
