O’BRIEN RITES HELD

The funeral service for Frank O’Brien, 67, were held Thursday morning from the family home near Bernard, to St. Patrick’s church, North Garryowen, at 10 o’clock. The Rev. P. F. Malone, pastor, officiated at the requiem mass, and burial service in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. O’Brien died suddenly at his home following a cerebral hemorrhage, He was born July 12, 1875, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael O’Brien, and was a lifelong resident of this vicinity, and followed the occupation of farming.

Surviving are his wife, the former Myrtle Edwards; two daughters, Mrs. Justine Ahern of Bernard, and Ruth, of Maquoketa; one son, Edward, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Leo O’Brien of Platteville, Wis., and Sister Mary Loras, of the Visitation academy of Dubuque; two brothers, Henry of Dubuque, and Ambrose of Bernard.
