Mrs. George Tarr of Green Island Dies

GREEN ISLAND – Mrs. George Tarr died at approximately 4 p.m. Monday in her home in Green Island, following an illness of one and one half years.

Funeral services were at 1:45 p.m. Thursday in the home and at 2 p.m. in the Congregational church. The Rev. Laurence Nelson, pastor, officiated.

Ella Dannels was born Aug. 1, 1876, the daughter of Kinsey and Jane Dannels. She married George Tarr Nov. 2, 1900. She lived in this locality all of her life.

Surviving are her husband; one sister, Mrs. Frances Lingle; and two brothers, John Dannels of Clinton and George Dannels of near Green Island.

Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
