February 20, 1940Aunt of Maquoketans Dies Saturday at Ames
Mrs. F. C. Cooper, 83, passed away Saturday night following a heart attack at her home in Ames where she had resided for 65 years. Funeral services were held at St. Cecelia’s Catholic church in Ames at 9 a.m. Tuesday with a grandson, Rev. Dan Cooper of Lincoln, Nebr., officiating. Mrs. Cooper is an aunt of Mrs. George Brown and George Cooper of Maquoketa.
