OBITUARY

DIED-

Of pneumonia on the 5th inst., Mr. Samuel W. Wood, of Newburgh, N. Y., aged 72 years.

Mr. Wood was one of the oldest and most respected residents of Orange County, New York, and arrived at Bellevue on the 2nd inst., where he anticipated a pleasant visit of some weeks with his friends. He was taken ill on the 3rd at the residence of his brother-in-law, J. B. Booth, Esq., where he died in about 18 hours. He leaves a family and wide circle of friends to mourn his loss.
