BAGLEY. – At the home of her son, George, near Buckhorn, on Sunday, Jan. 3, 1892. Mrs. Bagley, of general debility, aged more than eighty years. The funeral occurred Tuesday at the Buckhorn church. When but a child her parents moved from Oneida county, N. Y., to Pennsylvania, where she was married to John A. Bagley, May 6, 1826. Mr. Bagley died in 1864. 1876 she came west. Three children blessed her life. Two are residents of Iowa. Mr. George Bagley, with whom she has had a happy home for many years, and her daughter Mrs. Julia Seeley, who lived not far away. The remaining son – has his home in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Bagley was a fine example of serene, cheerful old age, patient in her developing infirmity, and ever in sympathy with the young life about her. Her last sickness was prolonged for nearly one year, when extreme age added its weakness to her physical difficulty and she passed away. Mrs. Bagley for many years was a member of the M. E. church and died in the belief of a personal Savior. The services were conducted by Rev. J. G. Van Ness and the body laid to rest in the cemetery near the church.
