H. H. Beedle Services Held On Wednesday

Funeral services for H. H. Beedle, 77, retired Fulton area farmer who died Monday at the Jackson County Public hospital were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Haylock-O’Hara funeral home.

The Rev. Arthur D. Holtry, pastor of the First Methodist church officiated. Burial was in Mount Hope cemetery.

Mr. Beedle, who resided at 511 West Locust street since he and his wife left the farm, was born on Aug. 17, 1888, at Fulton, Iowa, the son of Alvin and Annie Ward Beedle. On Feb. 28, 1912, he married Olive DeGraw at Fulton. He was a member of the Fulton IOOF lodge.

He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Lyndon(Beulah) Douglas of Maquoketa; one son, Donald W. Beedle of Route 2, Maquoketa; a sister, Mrs. Mary B. Olson of Maquoketa; and three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death.
