Two of Sabula's pioneer residents have crossed the dark river during the past week. Wm. Wirt, Sr. died at the home of his son, William at Marcus, Iowa, on Sunday last, and Mrs. Peter Holm passed quietly away after a long and painful illness, at her home in this city on Tuesday last.
