Young Mother Called

Jennie Myrtle Lange was born at Morrison, Ill., Dec. 12th, 1894 and was called to her eternal rest Friday, Rev. 6, 1920, at her home on South Second St. in Maquoketa.

With her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Lange she moved to Maquoketa March 1st, 1912, and since that time Maquoketa has been her home.

On May 2, 1918 she was united in marriage to Clarence Lawrence Norton. To this union was born a baby boy, now just three months old.

Those left to mourn the loss of a sweet young life are, the husband, baby son, the parents, 3 sisters, Mrs. Ed. Gibson, misses Ruth and Dorothy Lange of Maquoketa, 4 brothers, Carl of Davenport, Edwin, Clyde and Gilbert or Maquoketa.

The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home at 2:30, Rev. J. J. Kidder conducting the services. Interment was made in our beautiful Mt. Hope cemetery.
