CIVIL WAR VETERAN BURIED AT MT. HOPE

The body of Henry R. Chase, Civil War veteran, arrived Tuesday from Cedar Falls for burial in Mount Hope cemetery by the side of his wife, who preceded him in death a number of years ago.

Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Hoyt of Cedar Falls accompanied the body and a brief committal service was held with Rev. D. F. Boomershine officiating.

By the will of Henry R. Chase, Cedar Falls, all property of which he is possessed is bequeathed to his daughter, Ethel M. Hoyt, and daughter-in-law, Frances Chase, Springfield, Mo., each to receive an undivided one-half of the estate. Mr. Chase died June 29. The will was filed for probate in the office of Clerk of Court J. W. Thompson late Thursday.
