DIED

BEGGS- Mrs. Eliza Beggs, aged 80 years, died Monday morning at eleven o’clock at the country home of her son, Henry, with whom she had been making her home for the past six weeks. A week ago Monday she fell and fractured her right hip and also received other injuries from which she was unable to recover. She was a faithful member of the M.E. church of this city. She is survived by five sons, Henry Samuel and William, residing in the vicinity of Maquoketa, Leonard of Nebraska, John of Kansas, and two daughters, Mrs. Melissa Webster of Illinois and Mrs. Mary Brittell of this city.
Funeral arrangements have not as yet been made.
