Ella R. McCloy Dies;
Funeral Rites Friday

Mrs. Ella R. McCloy, 89, died Wednesday in the Jackson County Public hospital.

Body is at the Carson funeral home, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. M. H. Nothdurft will officiate and burial will be in Union cemetery.

She was born Nov. 18, 1868, at Otter Creek, Ia., daughter of William and Margaret Reed. On Mar. 22, 1901, she married Alfred McCloy in Maquoketa. Her husband survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, William Miller of Delmar; two brothers, Isaac Reed of near Bridgeport and William Reed of Maquoketa; and seven grandchildren.

Her parents, a brother and six sisters preceded her in death.
