DIED-

SILAS BROWN, a former resident of this vicinity died at Andrew on Sunday last quite suddenly from a second stroke of paralysis, aged 55 years. His remains were brought to the home of his brother, Cornelius Brown, where the funeral occurred Tuesday. Rev. A. C. Peddicord, conducting the services, interment in the family lot at Union church. Several years ago Mr. Brown sustained a stroke of paralysis which rendered him quite helpless and unable to take care of himself. Mr. Cornelius Brown and family wish to extend their thanks to the friends and neighbors who assisted them in paying their last respects to the dead.
