DIED

DANIEL LAMBE, a well known resident of Farmers Creek township, died Sunday evening at 6 o’clock, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank McLaughlin. He was born in Ireland in 1820 and was therefor 82 years of age. Those who survive him of his near relatives are James Lambe, a brother residing in Dubuque, a daughter, Mrs. Frank McLaughlin and sons Thomas and Dan, who live in Farmers Creek township. The funeral took place at the Otter Creek Catholic church on Tuesday, Father Leahy presiding and the body was laid to rest in the burying ground adjacent to the church.
