Jackson Sentinel, September 25, 1902.

DIED-

Last Saturday morning, the remains of Miss Harriet Houston Booth, a maiden lady, arrived in Bellevue from Dubuque and were immediately taken to the Presbyterian Church where services were held in the afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. C. Memmott, pastor, assisted by Rev. D. W. Blakely, of the Congregational Church, conducting the services. The text chosen by Rev. Memmott was “I shall be satisfied when I awake in Thy likeness.” Miss Booth was for many years a resident of Bellevue and not till she had seen the last member of the family, father, mother, brothers and sisters laid to rest in the silent tomb, did she break up her residence here and go to Dubuque to reside with her niece, Mrs. Edward Slattery. This was about three years ago.
