DIED.

At the residence of his parents in this City, of Consumption, on the 21st instant, Mr. JUDSON A. EARLE, aged 28 years.

We had not a very intimate acquaintance with Mr. Earle, but that acquaintance was enough to enable us to fully endorse the exemplary character given him by those who have known him from his boyhood, and who have seen him grow up among them an honored and respected citizen. He was a practical printer, and as such, from his sobriety and good department, an honor to our craft, and one whose example as a citizen, a man, a printer, we could wish to see them all follow. He was at the time of his death a proprietor of the Bellevue Courier, the columns of which will never more have the advantage of his good taste and ready hand. He was the son of our old and respected follow citizen WILLIAM Y. EARLE. To the afflicted parents, the large circle of relations and friends, and to his partner in business, we tender our warmest sympathies in this hour of bereavement, and trust they may be enabled to look to the only true source of consolation for support in their time of trouble.

MR. EARLE was followed to the grave yesterday afternoon by a large number of those who had known him well, and who testified their respect for his character by assisting to lay his body in its last early resting place.
A.W.D.

In this city on the 20th inst., of Lung Fever, Mrs. MARY MAYERS, aged 45 years.
