DIED

RINGLEP. Edward Ringlep, born May 15th, 1871, in Maquoketa, Iowa, died of cancer of the stomach, Feb. 2nd, 1907, aged 35 years, 8 months, 17 days. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Ringlep. He married Aug. 24, 1896, Miss Myra House. To this union were born five children, one of these dying in infancy.

Mr. Ringlep had been ailing for some time and for the past two weeks had been confined to his bed. His sufferings during this time were most excruciating, yet he endured all patiently. He has been engaged in the barbering business since his earliest manhood and was well known to all the citizens of Maquoketa.

Funeral services were held at his late residence on Platt St. on Tuesday afternoon. Feb. 5th at 2:00 o’clock conducted by Rev. Geo. C. Chandler, after which the remains were laid to rest in Mt. Hope cemetery. A large concourse of people was present at the obsequies. There survive him his wife and four children, his mother, Mrs. Paul Edinger, two brothers, William of Maquoketa and Frank at San Jose, California, three sisters, Mrs. E. F. Stark, Keil, Wis., Mrs. Frank Gibson, Miss Cora Ringlep, Maquoketa, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gibson arrived home from the wedding trip in time for the funeral.
