HYDE – In Andrew, on Tuesday morning, April 8, 1873, Mrs. Sarah S. Hyde, aged 65 years.

Mrs. Hyde was the mother of Mrs. E. J. Holmes, of this city, with whom she has resided for a number of years past as one of the family.

Tender is the kindred tie,

E’en now in sorrow broken;

Our love will not, cannot die,

Though hearts are sadly stricken;

Firmer is and more secure,

The unchangeable home above,

Where friends all spotless and pure,

Through eternity will love. – Picket.
