Obituary.

Angeline Harris was born in Queensbury New York, Oct. 22, 1812, and died in Maquoketa, Iowa, Dec. 29, 1906, at the ripe age of 96 years 2 months and 7 days.

She was united in marriage to George Tubbs in the town where she was born, on the 4th day of April, 1833.

In 1845 she and her husband removed to Wisconsin, and thence to Iowa in 1854, and settled in Clinton county, about 5 miles south of Maquoketa.

Ten sons and four daughters were born to Mr. and Mrs. Tubbs; five only of whom survive her. They are as follows: Mrs. Wilkins of Janesville Wis. Hubert, of Correctionville Iowa, and Marvin, George and Willard of Maquoketa, and vicinity.

She was a devoted member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, until old age, with its infirmities barred her from attending its services.
