DIED.

The SENTINEL spoke briefly of Mrs. Arcana Bentley’s death in the last issue, but this week has the following additional particulars to give: Miss Arcana Cotton was born in Austintown, Trumbull county, Ohio, Feb. 27, 1819; was married to W. W. Wolcott in 1842, by whom she had two daughters, one of whom survives her. Moved to DeWitt, Iowa, in the fall of 1845. Her husband died in DeWitt, Oct. 1, 1846. In Sept. 1850, she was married to Wm. Bentley and moved to near Maquoketa, by whom she and two sons, who are left to mourn the loss of a kind mother. Mr. Bentley died Dec. 13, 1886. Mrs. Bentley died Jan. 16, 1895. She leaves three children, four grand-children and one great grand-child. She became a Christian in early life. Funeral from the home of her son Aylett, her old friend, T. Hillock, officiating.
