COLLINS – At Bridgeport, Jackson county, Iowa, Thursday, February 13, 1873, after a short illness, T. T. Collins, aged about 27 years.

RESOLUTIONS OF CONDOLENCE.

Bridgeport Division, No. 7, Sons of Temperance, in hall assembled, February 15, 1873 in memory of the late lamented Brother T. T. Collins, who died at his residence February 13 after a short but severe illness would present the following resolutions:

WHEREAS. In the all-wise providence of God, he has been pleased to remove by death a beloved brother and co-worker in the noble cause of Temperance in the late departed T. T. Collins: therefore,

Resolved, That, although we submit in humble resignation to the will of God, we recognize in the death of Brother Collins a sad bereavement.

Resolved, That we deeply sympathize with the beloved wife and many mourning relatives and friends of our late brother.

Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be presented to the bereaved family and a copy to the Maquoketa EXCELSIOR for publication.
