FORMER JACKSON COUNTY VETERAN PASSES AWAY

David H. Eaton, aged about 80 years, died at his home in Minnesota Wednesday. He will be remembered by many of the older residents of Jackson County as he lived for many years near Hurstville. He was a soldier of the Civil War, a member of the 44th Iowa Infantry. The body was brought to Maquoketa Thursday, where funeral services were held this morning from Buchner’s Chapel at 10 o’clock
