DIED

GORDON- Maquoketa, November 27th, Mrs. Eliza Gordon, wife of W. C. Gordon, aged 49 years. She was afflicted with heart disease and inflammation of the lungs.

Deceased was born in the state of New York, removed to Ohio at the age of eight years, emigrated from there to this place about 17 years ago. She leaves a husband, six children and a large circle of friends and acquaintances to mourn their loss. For her whom they loved cometh no more to greet them, but they will soon greet her on the other shore. For hers was the Christian hope.
