Died.

DUNNE – At the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. J. Nelson, in Otter Creek, of lung fever, Thursday, January 8th, 1903, Mrs. Mary Dunne, aged 79 years.

Deceased was born in Kings county, Ireland, and in girlhood came to New Orleans, where she was married to James Dunne. Shortly after they came north and located on a farm in Otter Creek township where they resided more than 40 years. Mrs. Dunne, an intelligent, hospitable and amiable lady, was a suitable companion for a prominent citizen such as her husband became, in her demise she leaves four children, Jos. F., Jas. R., and Mrs. Nelson of Otter Creek, and Thos. J. of South Dakota. The funeral took place from St. Lawrence church, Otter Creek, 10:00 a.m. Saturday. Father Leahy, Kelly and McNamara officiating. A good woman was laid peacefully to rest in the presence of many loving friends in the cemetery near the church.
