Mrs. Catherine BECHEN, an old and highly respected lady died at her home near Centerville on Tuesday, January 27th, aged 71 years.

BELLEVUE HERALD

Last Friday morning, Miss Elizabeth HERKES, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Herkes of this city, passed away at the Mercy hospital, Dubuque, from the effects of an operation performed to give her relief from appendicitis from which she was suffering.

Again are we called upon to announce the death of one of Bellevue’s most highly respected citizens in the person of Mrs. Margaret DUNN, relict of the late Peter Dunn, which occurred on the morning of Friday, January 30, 1903, at her home on Fourth street.
