ALLEN- At her home in Fulton, Friday morning, February 28, 1896, of general debility, Mrs. M. E. Allen, aged 63 years.

Deceased was a bright and interesting lady, of much more than ordinary intelligence, a native of western Pennsylvania, which state she visited last year. She has been more or less out of health for several years. She had a host of friends who will miss her, and she leaves in bereavement, three daughters, Mrs. Wm. Huntington of Fulton, Mrs. D. M. Allison of Maquoketa, Mrs. Dr. Quigley, of Hawarden and one son, W. W. of Montana, who arrived in time to attend the funeral which took place with interment at Zwingle, Tuesday afternoon. A good mother and a noble woman has gone.
