Died.

DUTTON – John E. Dutton was born in Jackson county, Iowa, April 27, 1857. He grew to manhood in the vicinity of Iron Hill and was united in marriage to Miss Lizzie Walter, July 4, 1880. To this union two children were born, Mrs. Ella Pratt of Nashville, and Wealthy who died in infancy. He spent the last few years with his daughter, Mrs. Fred G. Pratt, one mile south of Nashville. After a short illness he died March 20, 1911, aged 53 years, 10 months and 23 days. He leaves to mourn his loss besides the daughter, four sisters, viz: Mrs. Hogg of Maquoketa, Mrs. John Copp of Kansas, Mrs. J. C. Currier of Iron Hill, and Mrs. E. Bradley of Monmouth.

Funeral services were held from the daughter’s home on Wednesday at 10 a.m., and sermon at the Buckhorn Reformed church at 1 a.m. and burial in Waterford cemetery – Rev. D. F. Boomershine officiating.
