Obituary

Anna Martin was born April 14, 1848, at Cairo, Ill., and died at the home of her son Frank in Baldwin on Nov. 9, 1920 at 1:20 a.m.

Anna Martin was married to John J. Ketchum on April 8, 1866. To this union was born ten children the following of which are living; Mrs. Clara Potter of Baldwin, Mrs. Martha Heiser of Maquoketa. Mrs. Rosa Ward of Pendleten, Ore.; Oscar of Anamosa, George of Green Island, Fred of Baldwin.

There are also three step children. Mrs. Sarah McCarty of Monmouth, Mr. John Ketchum of Monmouth and Mrs. Margaret Winans of Monticello.

Her husband preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 1895.

The funeral was held at the Catholic church in Baldwin on Nov. 11th at 9:00 a.m. Father Craney saying Low Mass. Interment made in the Pence cemetery.
