Clarence Welch

Clarence, son of Fred and Martha (Evers) Welch was born near Iron Hill, April 9, 1919, and after a short illness of two days of pneumonia, fell asleep in Jesus on Sunday, Mar. 13, at 3:30 a.m., aged two years, eleven months and four days.

Clarence was a bright little boy and a great favorite. His childish prattle was a great joy in the home. Besides the sorrowing and bereft parents, a brother Francis aged five and baby sister, Vera Loretta, aged two months, grand parents and other relatives survive to mourn his early departure.

Funeral services were held from the home of the parents three miles north of Baldwin on Wednesday Mar. 16 at 10 a.m. and burial in Buckhorn cemetery. Rev. D. F. Boomershine officiating.
