Maquoketa Excelsior, May 25, 1865:

DIED

In this city, on the 30th day of April, 1865, Mrs Hannah Rhoades, aged 55 years.

Her mind was calm and peaceful during her illness, and she was anxious to leave this world and go to her eternal rest. She leaves five children to mourn their great loss.
