Mrs. George Varner died suddenly at her home in Farmerss Creek township on Tuesday last. In apparent good health she visited her sister who resides nearby in the morning. When her husband came home he found her lying dead upon the bed upstairs from all appearances having died from heart disease. Coroner Ritter was at once notified. He summoned a jury and held an inquest. Messers Jefferson, Edwards, James McDonald, J. Streets composing the jury, and the returned verdict to the effect that the lady died from heart disease or apoplexy.
