Died.

SMITH – Frank E. Smith was born in the state of Illinois, May 27th 1864, and died in Maquoketa, November 12th 1905. He came to this country with his parents while young. He was married to Francis L. Said, and to this union was born five children, one having died in infancy. There remains a loving wife and four children, one boy and three girls, and a mother, one brother and two sisters to mourn the loss of a kind and loving husband and father. Mr. Smith had a large circle of friends who congregated at the Second Advent Christian Chapel at Iron Hills to sympathize with the bereaved family. Elder John W. Said spoke words of comfort from St. John 3rd chapter and 17th verse, after which Mr. Smith was laid to rest in the Iron Hills cemetery.
