John T. Siegel, 77, Dies Sunday Evening Following Stroke.
Andrew-John T. Siegel, 77, died at his home west of here at 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon following a stroke which he suffered early in the day. He had been in poor health for some time.
Surviving are his wife and eight children, George, Edward, Celia, and Lena of Maquoketa, Mrs. Ann Gibson, Mrs. Louise Gnade, Albert and Ray of Andrew, several grandchildren and one great-grandchild. One daughter, Mrs. Nellie Schenk, preceded him in death.
The funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Wednesday at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Lutheran Church. Interment will be made at the Andrew Cemetery. The Rev. E.H.Doerring will officiate.
