LAMOTTE — Tara Ann L. Weimerskirch 24, of LaMotte, died Saturday at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque.

Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, LaMotte.

She was born June 28, 1983, in Dubuque to Virgil and Verla Ambrosy Weimerskirch.

She graduated from Andrew High School in 2001; Northeast Iowa Community College, Peosta, 2004 and received a honorary bachelor’s degree from the University of Dubuque in 2005.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Maquoketa.

Survivors include her parents, Virgil and Verla Weimerskirch of LaMotte; siblings, Don (Michele) Weimerskirch of Dixon, Iowa, Karen (Rich) McCarthy of East Dubuque, Ill., Allen (Janelle) Weimerskirch of Bettendorf, Brian (Kim) Weimerskirch of Bernard, Cheri (LeRoy) Mohr of Kearney, Neb., Nancy (Doug) Lane of Spragueville, Vicki (Phil) Boughton of Clinton, Patti (Travis) Trenkamp of Charlotte, Randy (Jami) Weimerskirch of Maquoketa, Mary Jo (Phil) Harris of Bellevue and Lindy Weimerskirch (Chris Hart) of Maquoketa; grandmothers, Clara Weimerskirch of Maquoketa and Marcella Ambrosy of Dubuque; and 28 nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorials are preferred.

She was preceded in death one brother, one nephew, both grandfathers and two uncles.
