Maquoketa Record, June 4, 1907:
Doubrawa.
Mrs. Frank Doubrawa died at her home in this city last evening after a weeks illness, aged 60 years.

Mary Zezula was born in Bohemia July 2, 1838, married October 7, 1861 to Frank Doubrawa in Pilzen. Came to this country in 1867, settling at Hartford, Connecticut. Came to Maquoketa in 1875, where she has since resided. She leaves a husband, one son, Frank of Beaumont, Texas and daughter Mrs. Konvolinka of Iowa City and three grandsons.

Deceased was a good woman, respected by all who knew her.
