Obituary
On Friday night last, Mrs. Richard Odgers departed this life at the home of her husband's mother, Mrs. Lodena Odgers, at Durand, Illinois, after a lingering illness from consumption. The deceased's maiden name was May Kendall, a sister of A. W. Kendall, and Mrs. J. Kehn of Delmar. With her husband she made her home on the old Kendall farm east of this city. About two months ago they went to Durand, Illinois, where she passed away as above stated. Her remains were brought to the home of H. S. Bowman in this city , on Saturday night last where the funeral was held on Monday at 3:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. D. F. Boomershine, interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery. A large number of friends extend their heart felt sympathy to the bereaved husband in this hour of his deep sorrow.
