Frank Griswold Dies At Long Beach, Calif.
LaMotte-The Weigert family and their friends were grieved when the message arrived Thursday stating the passing away of Frank Griswold at his home in Long Beach, Calif., Wednesday afternoon after an illness of nine days.
Mr. Griswold was born near LaMotte about 67 years ago, was married to Miss Mary Weigert, who with three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Cornelius, Mrs. Sylvia Bolte, of Long Beach and Miss Maybelle, at home, survive him. He is also survived by several grandchildren; one brother, Henry of Wyoming, Iowa; and two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Mann, and Mrs. Nancy Coleman of California.
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon. Relatives from here were unable to attend and joined by a host of friends in extending sympathy to the bereaved family. Mr. Griswold spent a few months visiting here in the early winter.
