Death Of Mrs. Skow.
A very sad death occurred in this city on Sunday morning last, when Mrs. Ida Skow, answered the final summons, giving up her life upon the altar of maternity.
The funeral occurred Tuesday at 3 p.m. from the house Rev. Chandler officiating. A large concourse of people following the loved remains to the place of final repose in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Ida Mitchell was born in Jackson County, Iowa, thirty-seven years ago. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H.H.Mitchell, prominent early settlers of the county. In 1887, she became the wife of Nis Skow, who with three children, Lela, Anna and Theodore survive to mourn the death of a loving wife and mother. Deceased was a member of the Baptist Church of this city and leaves a large circle of friends who deeply regret her untimely death.
