MRS. CARL WAZAC JR.

Mrs. Carl Wazac, Jr., 27, died at 6:30 a.m. today in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Loitz in Preston. She had been ill for several years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Krabbenhoft funeral home, Preston. The Rev. H. E. Manning of Dubuque, formerly of the Lost Nation Presbyterian church will officiate. Burial will be in the Lost Nation cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Betty Jane Loitz, daughter of Alvin and Berniece Dietz Loitz, was born Sept. 26, 1922, near Preston. She was graduated from the Elwood high school in 1940 and was married Aug. 26, 1943, to Carl Wazac, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Rene Marie, 3; her parents, two sisters, Mrs. Fred Hronik, Oxford Junction, and Mrs. Don Lubben, Maquoketa; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Alfred Dietz, Maquoketa, and her paternal grandfather, John Loitz of Woodstock, Ill., also aunts, uncles and cousins.
