GRACE ROSECRANS DIES SATURDAY; FUNERAL TUESDAY

Mrs. Grace E. Rosecrans, 71, died in the Jackson County Public hospital at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosecrans were held in the Carson funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. M. H. Nothdurft, pastor of the Maquoketa Methodist church, officiated and interment was made in the DeWitt cemetery.

As Grace Edna, Mrs. Rosecrans was born Sept. 6, 1880, in Clinton county, the daughter of the late Isaac W. and Sarah Robinson Knight. On Sept. 5, 1921, she was married in Maquoketa to Emory Rosecrans. Her husband preceded her in death in 1944.

Her only immediate survivor is one brother, W. R. Knight of Maquoketa. A brother and two sisters preceded her in death. She was a member of the Women's Relief corps.
