FUNERAL SERVICE HELD HERE MONDAY FOR FLOYD HANSEN

Funeral service was held Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Carson-Balster funeral home for Floyd "Dick" Hansen, 63, who died at his home here Friday evening following a heart attack. The Rev. Maurice Powers officiated and burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery with the American Legion in charge of graveside service.

The deceased, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Hansen, was born Sept. 23, 1884, at Baldwin. He was married Feb. 9, 1942 to Opal Romer who survives. Mr. Hansen was a veteran of World War I and was a painter by trade.

Surviving besides the widow are three brothers and two sisters Oce Hansen, Maquoketa; Ben and Guy Hansen, and Mrs. Ella Montgomery, Oxford, and Mrs. Grace Leslie, of Oregon. Four sisters and one brother preceded him in death.
