Maquoketa — Judy Kay Wiegert, age 57, of Maquoketa, Iowa, died Friday at the Jackson County Regional Health Center in Maquoketa.
Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa.
She was born on January 5, 1950, in Bellevue, to Lyle Don Tebben and Vona Maxine Ripple Tebben. She was a 1968 graduate of Andrew Community High School, a graduate of AIC in Davenport. She married Albert William “Junior” Wiegert, Jr. on September 18, 1971 in Andrew, Iowa.
She had worked as a CNA, and later as a CMA, for the Andrew Jackson Care Facility. She currently worked for DAC, Inc. in Maquoketa as a home health care supervisor.
She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Andrew and the Andrew AMVETS Post #62 Ladies Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband; her mother, Vona Tebben of Andrew; one sister, Jean (Mrs. Roger) Ambrosy of Andrew; three sisters-in-law, Alverda Beck of Preston, Mary Wiegert of Maquoketa, and Rita Wiegert of Bellevue; two brothers-in-law, Harold Wiegert of Dubuque and Eldon (Sandy) Wiegert of Loveland, Colo.; one uncle, Richard Ripple of Carthage, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, her father-in-law and her mother-in-law.
A Judy Kay Wiegert Memorial Fund has been established.
